Lyrics

I’ve had this song in my head ever since Mr. Tony told the claahsic story of the lady at Politics and Prose who asked him to go inside so her bike wouldn’t get wet. I finally got it out of my system and hopefully out of my head! My apologies in advance if it gets stuck in yours. Probably a mistake, but I’ve opened the Queen vault.

Lyrics:
Bicycle, bicycle, bicycle
I want to dry my bicycle, bicycle, bicycle
I want to dry my bicycle
Who wants to ride a wet bike?
I want to dry my bicycle
I want it dry go back inside

Who’s this guy, in my space?
Head is orange, way off base.
Rain comes down, I say “Hey man,
why don’t you go back inside, can’t you see my bike needs shelter?”
He just turned, stared me down,
Went inside without a sound.
Not sure what is his deal,
I don’t really care, he’s gone,
Now my bike is home again!
All I care about is:

Bicycle, bicycle, bicycle
I want to dry my bicycle,
Who wants to ride a wet bike?

Set to Queen's "Bicycle Race"

Ha! This is so great! I think I can count myself lucky yours was submitted during "vacation." I only thought of my jingle a couple weeks ago when a little reminded me of this incident with his email. So, I was well behind your take (epic). Still, I suppose the world can never have enough homages to the Bicycles and Prose tale.

All these spectacular jingles wasted during show vacation. I hope when (if) they come back, they do at least one full segment playing all these jingles you all have created while they were gone.

"I've opened the Queen vault" sounds like a pretty good Saturday on Dupont Circle.
