Lyrics

Because I felt I needed a song for each baby deer (that we know of so far) and thinking about 3 deer led to this dumb idea...which has sorta crazy original lyrics that just seemed to fit in spots. Ok, so I was lazy. Thanks again Kj, Rob and Luke for feedback!

Just got home from 18 holes, now I need to be consoled
So I'll, check in, on my little herbivore
Is this my imagination, or a brand new calculation?
Deer, deer, deer - I'm counting out my back door

There's a coyote doing cartwheels, a fox is wearing high heels
Look at all the happy creatures dancing on the lawn
My dog is looking woebegone, tells me that I'm on my own
Deer, deer, deer - standing out my back door

SacaJeannewea McManus is now the new Jack Hannah
But the worst part is I'll hear "I had that Tony!"
(baa baa baa)
Is this an apparition, or have deer discovered fission?
Deer, deer, deer - taking over next door
Deer, deer, deer - how long til I count four?!

Awesome! And it's so great when an original lyric remains preserved in a parody

I know that "look at all the happy creatures dancing on the lawn" is in the original, but I still laughed out loud when you got there. This is so good . . .

Love it. Great all around. "herbivore" and "fission" are so perfect, but for some reason "baa baa baa" is what got me laughing out loud.
