Lyrics

Anita came up with the song/title idea (the best part of the whole thing), then we collaborated on the lyrics to get this ridiculousness. A song of spite and anger.

I wrote words good
I wasn't sure if you knew
But I gave up writing
All because of this one weasel Raju
I'll never hold a Pulitzer
But always a grudge
Though TV and radio have made me rich
His fat face I still want to punch

My hate is real, for that schlemiel...
Cause I was
Fired from the Washington Post,
Fired by that worthless dope,
Fired from the Washington Post
And now I hope that he dies soon.

I got fired
In a despicable way
It feels odd and it feels bad
But doesn’t feel sad, just wrong
No amount of wine
Will ever be enough
But no self-pity here, I’m an anger guy
And I hate his guts

My hate is real, for that schlemiel...
Cause I was
Fired from the Washington Post,
Fired by that ...........
Fired from the Washington Post
And now I hope that he dies soon.

god I love that first line, and schlemiel, and the long bleep, and his fat face.

Thanks! As much as I love this original song, this was one where it was easier and faster to just edit an existing track and sing over that.
