Lyrics

I had asked Jerry Negrelli a few weeks ago about doing a Day in the Life in separate parts and in typical Negrelli fashion he produced perhaps the best email jingle to date with part 1. He was kind enough to add the Lennon voice to this part as well. After hearing his first section I was unsure if I should even add this to the collection but here it is anyway. Thanks to Jerry for his advice, his motivation and for providing this great space for the littles to interact.

Lyrics:
Woke up, fell out of bed
combed the dregs across his head.
It's the Thursday show and Tony's irate
he can't get a gig on "The Americans"
Time for Carville's picks
He'll take Baylor minus 46
Now here come some faxes and maybe some notes
or something a little wrote on a google machine
Ah..................

Ready for the full version in the summer Jerry, I am sure they will provide plenty of material in the new year for us to work with, Thanks for working on this with me.

Please do a full song version-- one of the greatest Beatles songs has become 2 (so far) of the best jingles.

I think this turned out great, Patrick, good job! Maybe next summer we can mix a full version of the song with Lennon bookends and add a joke for the "Cranberry sauce" section. I'll need something to fill all that non-Mr. Tony podcast time.
